![]() For more information about Government Relations, please contact Ian Niemi Kremer at the Chapter office: toll-free (866) 259-0042.Concerned citizens are encouraged to participate in our government advocacy campaigns in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, and on Capitol Hill. We work to protect the financial, legal and long-term health care security of people with Alzheimer's disease and their families. First and foremost, we need your help to encourage government officials to support the Alzheimer's Association public policy goals. Please e-mail aaaan@alz-nca.org to join our e-mail Alzheimer's Advocacy Action Alert Network. In your e-mail, please put "AAAAN" in the subject line and include you full name and complete home mailing address in the text of your message so that we can determine you legislative district. When urgent issues arise, you will get an e-mail from us indicating which government officials to contact and how to do so along with a straightforward one or two sentence explanation of the message we need those government officials to get. In every such case, we encourage you to share Alzheimer's Association Action Alerts with your family, friends, colleagues and anyone else who might be willing to add their voices in our efforts to encourage government officials to do the right thing for people coping with Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder.
